ALEXANDRIA - Egyptian champion Sameh Sidhom has won the first Egyptian ranking event in Smouha Sporting club, Alexandria. He defeated Samer Kamal 50-23 in 25 innings in the final. The others on the podium were Youssef Osama and Mohamed Abo Wafia.
Sameh Sidhom played an overall average 1.778 and had a highest run of 12. Ihab El Messeri made his come-back in the tournament. Sidhom beat Youssef Osama 50-34 in 34 in the semi-finals, Samer Kabal won against Mohamed abo Wafia 50-37 in 49.
The Smouha Sporting Club is one of Egypt's biggest billiards clubs.
