SEOUL - The first PBA tournament of this season goes to finals with two ultra young talents and an old veteran. Young Korean rookie Young-won Kim is only 16 and will play in the final eight tomorrow against Deuk-Lee Hwang. Burak Hashas, at 18 two years older, is playing a fantastic first PBA event and will come to the table in the best eight against Seung-jin Lee tomorrow.
The other matches are between David Martinez and Sung-won Choi and between Jung-ju Shin and Dong Koong Kang.
Not only is 16-year-old Korean Young-won Kim a sensation in the final rounds. The 69-year-old Moo-sun Kim was that even more until the round with the top 16. In the first round, this veteran even beat Semih Sayginer 3-0. He remained in the tournament until the day he was eliminated by Burak Hashas, more than 50 years younger, 3-0.
The women's final is between the much-won Se-yeon Kim and Kyoung-jin Im.
