Three more years World Cups Hurghada, Antalya and Suwon

HURGHADA - The World Cup in Hurghada, from 4 to December 10, will be also on the international c alendar for the next three seasons. This morning the provisional calendar of the UMB (world federation of billiards) has been released. Moreover the World Cups of Suwon and Antalya will be on the calendar for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014.

The sports committee of the UMB strives to a number of five to seven World Cup events each year and is searching for more candidates to organize in the upcoming years. The contracts with three tournament organizers is a solid foundation for the time being.

On the world's calendar for 2013 the World championship in Antwerp in introduced, just like the Lausanne Billard Masters, which will be held for the first time. Next year the World championships will be held in Porto.
 
The UMB still maintains the Super Cup and Player of the Year gala in Antwerp on his calendar on February 4, 2012. As already known, Ludo Dielis, after ten years has stopped organizing this event. There is no successor, therefore the gala has been canceled for next year.
