The Players
The team setting brings a different dimension to familiar Tour rivalries. Players who spend most of the season trying to beat one another now share the same objective, with each result contributing to their team’s campaign.
Team Asia
Captain Francisco “Django” Bustamante combines three returning champions with two players making their Reyes Cup debuts.
Carlo Biado — The 2025 World Pool champion returns after sharing the title-clinching match with AJ Manas in last year’s Reyes Cup. He gives the home crowd a world champion to get behind.
Robbie Capito — The Hong Kong star makes his debut after reaching the 2026 US Open final. The man who beat him there, Francisco Sánchez Ruiz, will be in the opposing team.
AJ Manas — Last year’s MVP returns for his second appearance. His debut helped Asia retain the trophy, and he now arrives with experience of the occasion alongside fellow Filipino Biado.
Duong Quoc Hoang — The Vietnamese hero returns for a third consecutive Reyes Cup, this time with the 2026 Premier League Pool title to his name.
Albert Januarta — The Indonesian makes his debut after a season that included a Premier League Pool semi-final and quarter-finals at the Florida and Arizona Opens. He joins Capito as one of Asia’s two newcomers.
Team Rest of the World
Captain Ralf Souquet has two returning Reyes Cup players and three debutants as Rest of the World seek their first title.
Francisco Sánchez Ruiz — The 2026 US Open champion returns after representing the team in 2025. Capito’s presence on the other side adds another point of interest, should the selections bring the US Open finalists together again.
Shane Van Boening — The five-time US Open champion makes his Reyes Cup debut. His long Mosconi Cup career gives him extensive experience of playing for a team, and he arrives following victory at the 2026 Florida Open.
Joshua Filler — A former Mosconi Cup MVP, the German brings established team credentials to his first Reyes Cup. This time, familiar American opponents Van Boening and Fedor Gorst are teammates.
Fedor Gorst — Gorst returns from the 2025 side alongside Sánchez Ruiz. His experience of facing Asia in this competition gives Souquet another player familiar with the challenge.
Aleksa Pecelj — The Serbian makes his debut following a productive August: a Phoenix Open title, an Arizona Open runner-up finish and a US Open semi-final.
