OSLO - Over three days (Friday 13-Sunday 15 October), the Nordic championship of three-cushion will be played in Oslo. The tournament is organised by the Norwegian Billiards Federation together with Oslo BK in the Oslo Biljardklubb. Swedish players Michael Nilsson, David Pennör and Nalle Olsson lead the players list. The championship will start according to the round robin system with 24 participants.
The group phase starts today, Friday 13 October from 10.00 am with eight groups of three players. The length of the games is in the groups to 30 points with a maximum of 40 innings. In the play-offs with the eight group winners and the runners-up, it will be played to 40 points with equal innings and a shoot-out in case of a tie.
Dion Nelin is the previous champion, he is not playing this year, as is Torbjörn Blomdahl.
