The 7th EEBC Junior Championship has concluded in Dębica. Young billiard players from different parts of Europe competed for the title in the 9-Ball event. Ksawery Marcinkowski emerged as the winner after defeating Adam Pałczyński 5 - 1 in the final.
Marcinkowski delivered top-class billiards throughout the day. He played with confidence, consistency and great effectiveness, confirming his excellent form once again in the decisive match for the gold medal.
In the semi-finals, Marcinkowski produced another dominant performance, defeating Adam Skulec of Slovakia 5 - 0. In the second semi-final, Adam Pałczyński beat Wiktor Kaczmarek 5 - 2, setting up an all-FORTIS Bilard Kielce final.

The final eight also included Oleksander Yeshov of Ukraine, Václav Skokan of Czechia, Borys Gaćkowski of Poland and Radu Dobrescu of Romania.
With players from Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czechia and Romania reaching the last eight, the tournament once again underlined its international character and the strong level of junior competition within the East European Billiard Council.
The championship was held at the MOSiR Sports Hall in Dębica. Krzysztof Waszak served as Tournament Director, while Andrzej Skupień was the Head Referee.
The event was supported by Min Korea, Iwan Simonis S.A., Aramith, Kamui, the City of Dębica and Mak Marketing.
Now it’s time for the EEBC Championship
The billiard action in Dębica continues after the conclusion of the junior competition. Following the 7th EEBC Junior Championship, attention now turns to the EEBC Championship, featuring the senior competition. The senior tournament gets underway today and will bring another round of international competition organised in Dębica by the East European Billiard Council.
The opening ceremony of the EEBC Championship in Dębica is also behind us, attended by invited guests representing the local government, Polish and international billiard organisations, and the EEBC structures. Among them were Sławomir Gawlik – Secretary of the City of Dębica, Grzegorz Kędzierski – President of the Polish Billiard Association, Marcin Krzemiński – President of the East European Billiard Council, Jaroslav Horenovsky and Samuel Koniar – EEBC Vice Presidents, Alexandru Balas and Piotr Kędzior – members of the EEBC Board, Karolina Olejarz – member of the EEBC Board and Director of Bank Pekao S.A. in Starachowice, and Krzysztof Waszak – Director of the EEBC International Billiard Academy.
