SEOUL - The Green Force team with Korean captain Jae-ho Cho and Antonio Montes is the winner of the third round in the PBA team league. The frontrunner after eight rounds at the Goyang Kintex stadium finished with 17 points ahead of Winners (Lütfi Cenet, Burak Hashas) with 14 and Wiebees (Juan David Zapata, Sruong Pheavy) also with 14 points. The Direct team (Eddy Leppens) finished fourth and remains the leader of the standings over 3 tours of 8 rounds. Direct gathered 47 points, Green Force moves up to second place with 44 points.
Green Force won the final and decisive match against Woori Won Weebies 4-1 among other wins by Jae-ho Cho and Hyun woo Kim against Juan David Zapata and Sang-pil Eom 11-2, after which Zapata took revenge in the individual clash with Jae-ho Cho, won by the Spaniard 15-2. Antonio Montes secured the final victory for Green Force by beating Min-gu Kang 11-9 for a final score 4-1. The women's double was won by Green Force with Min-a Kim and and Su-bin Chung winning against Sruong Pheavy and Min-young Kim 9-8.
Winners squandered the last chance for the lead by losing 4-3 against Laon, the penultimate team in the rankings. Lütfi Cenet and Burak Hashas had started with wins in the double against Tae-jun Oh and Duc Anh Chien Nguyen and Hashas won the match against Hyung-bum Hwang 15-8, Lütfi Cenet beat David Martinez in the last match 11-0.
Total leader SK Rent a Car (Direct) picked up important match points in the last match against SV Bazzar 4-2. The result is, that Direct finished fourth in this Tour. Direct with its outstanding leader Eddy Leppens started with double win: Eddy Leppens and Dinh Nai Ngo beat Dani Sánchez and Yusuke Mori 11-1. Dong Koong Kang also won the match with Sánchez 15-5, Leppens was beaten by Deuk-hee Hwang 11-8 and finally Ji-eun Kang won the ladies' match against Ji-eun Han 9-6.
Hanapay, the number 3 ranked team, went down in its last match against SY Bazar, who finished equal to Hanapay in this tour with 11 points. Murat Naci Coklu and Byeong-ho Kim started the match with 11-10 wins against Dani Sánchez and Yusuke Mori. Sánchez in turn won the individual match against Coklu 15-13, Ga-young Kim defeated Ji-eun Han 9-6 in the women's match and in the final fight, Yusuke Mori won from Nguyen Quoc Nguyen 11-3.
