ESPN and the World Nineball Tour will showcase the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup on ESPN+ on the ESPN App, bringing four days of electrifying team pool to fans across the United States. From October 15-18, Team Asia and Team Rest of the World will go head-to-head in one of the sport’s most iconic tournaments. Coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET each day of the four-day event.
Five-time US Open champion Shane Van Boening and two-time world champion Fedor Gorst will fly the American flag for Team Rest of the World, as they aim to dethrone Team Asia and claim a first-ever Reyes Cup title.
With the Reyes Cup now joining the line-up, and the Mosconi Cup, the biggest event in professional pool, set to return in November, ESPN is fast becoming the home of professional pool in the United States.
Fans across the US will be able to watch every session live on ESPN+ on the ESPN App, as well as on WNT TV, which will also stream the event live for fans around the world.
The 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup will take place from October 15-18 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati, Manila, as Team Asia return to defend their title as back-to-back champions following their commanding 11-3 victory against Team Rest of the World in 2025.
Both teams are packed with star power. Team Rest of the World will feature American favourite Shane Van Boening and recently crowned US Open champion Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, while Team Asia will be spearheaded by two-time world champion Carlo Biado, setting the stage for another epic chapter on the World Nineball Tour.
Emily Frazer, CEO of Matchroom Multi Sport, said: “We’re thrilled to bring the Roobet Reyes Cup to even more fans across the US. The US Open showed the appetite for professional pool, and with the Mosconi Cup to follow in November, American fans are getting more world-class pool than ever before.
“The Reyes Cup is one of the most exciting events on the World Nineball Tour calendar, with an electric atmosphere, passionate fans and the world’s best players going head-to-head. ESPN allows us to introduce it to a brand-new audience while continuing to serve our loyal fans in the US.
“With Team Asia defending their crown and a star-studded Team Rest of the World hungry to take it from them, the Roobet Reyes Cup has never had more riding on it. We can’t wait for American fans to experience the action in Manila.”
Inspired by the legendary Efren “Bata” Reyes, the Reyes Cup celebrates the Philippines’ passion for cue sports and brings the finest talent from Asia and the rest of the world together in a Mosconi Cup-style team format. Now, with ESPN+ on the ESPN App showing every session, US fans can experience four days of elite competition, electric crowds and unforgettable moments, live from Manila.
Every session of the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup will be live on ESPN+ on the ESPN App, while fans around the world can tune in on WNT TV. Further global broadcast partners to be announced soon.
