Frédéric Caudron announced his come-back to the Dutch league and will play for DKM Tools

OOSTERHOUT - The Dutch premier three-cushion league will be reinforced by Frédéric Caudron next season. The top Belgian billiard player has committed himself to the DKM Tools team. Where this team will play next year, is still unknown. DKM Tools now plays its home matches at Camping De Eekhoorn and is 10th in the rankings.

Meanwhile, the other top Belgian player in the premier league, Eddy Merckx, has signed a contract with Aarstsbouw Sprundel. He will leave the SIS Schoonmaak team, the current champion in the Netherlands where Carl Verhoeven has announced his farewell as team sponsor.

Frédéric Caudron is recovering from hip surgery and has signed up for a return to the World Cup circuit. This year he is still under contract with Dallinga in Sluiskil, but is unlikely to play matches there.

John Verkooijen of DKM Tools is hugely pleased with Caudron's arrival in his team. ’’I am in contact with him for some time and was already his sponsor. With Fred, we get a wonderful new player in the premier league.''

DKM Tools this year includes Birol Uymaz, Dion Nelin and Ronny Lindemann under contract. The team played a draw against Dekker Sprundel this weekend in the line-up with Nelin, Davy van Havere, Roland Uijtdewillegen and Jack Wijnen.
