STOKHOLM - In the capital Stokholm, the Swedish three-cushion championship is being held this week. Michael Nilsson is the defending champion, Torbjörn Blomdahl the main challenger. Other contenders for the podium are David Pennör and Nalle Olsson. The championship is over five days. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the group matches.
The quarter-finals on Sunday at 10am, semi-finals at 12.00, finals at 2pm.
Sixteen players will be in action in two groups of eight in the preliminary rounds according to Round robin system. Eight players are automatically qualified, the other eight have qualified at two locations.
