SEOUL - The Korean capital Seoul will be the stage for the World 3 cushion Survival from Thursday (17 August) to Sunday 20 August, organised by Five&Six and AfreecaTV and part of the calendar of the world federation UMB. The Survival event will be played by 24 players, most of them from the UMB world top, at the same time 10 ladies including Therese Klompenhouwer, the world champion, play a Round robin to 20 points. The men start in the composition of four players per match.
Fourteen players have been designated as qualifiers, four players received a wildcard and six players come from the three-day qualifiers with 128 players. Thursday and Friday are for the preliminary stage, Saturday are the quarter-finals, Sunday the semi-finals and final.
