MEDELLIN – Marco Zanetti won the famous Feria de las Floras tournament in Colombia with great superiority. In a tournament with strong Colombians, Zanetti was the best with high averages and impressive victories. In the final, Zanetti beat Henry Diaz 50-35 in 20 innings
The famous tournament in Medelin started with 360 players in the preliminary rounds and 180 in the first round of the main tournament. Marco Zanetti sailed through the run-up to the final with victories over Rodolfo Covarrubias (40-16 in 18), Carlos Campino (40-15 in 17) and in the semi-final against Huberney Cataño with 40-32 in 21.
Henry Diaz won the other final against Alejandro Santiago 40-37 in 23 innings.
