Filippos Kasidokostas returns after one year and 4 months in the PBA

SEOUL - The PBA has announced that three major European players will play for the Korean pro tour starting this summer. The big names are Greek Filippos Kasidokostas, Spanish Colombian Robinson Morales and young, 18-year-old Turk Burak Hashas. The PBA season starts again in June this year.

Filippos Kasidokostas and Robinson Morales played in the PBA before. The Greek left the Korean circuit first during his father's illness, later in the Corona era and finally one year and four months ago. The winner of two PBA tournaments now returns.

Robinson Morales turned his back on the PBA three years ago. He declared then: ''I miss my family for so long and want to return to my country.'' Morales was one of the main players in the Korean team competition.

Burak Hashas, young player with world and European junior titles in the UMB, is the surprising name. The Turk, who is playing the European Under-25 Championship on a Greek island this weekend, will make his entrance in this year's first PBA events. ''I decided to take the step,'' Hashas told us this morning. ''In the UMB, I will play the World Cup in Ho Chi Minh first, then I leave for the PBA.''

Robinson Morales and Burak Hashas are Cues&Darts players in the Dutch team competition, among others.
