WAALWIJK - In the billiard room where Crystal Kelly plays his last two matches this weekend, Delta Sluiskil beat his rival on Saturday. The result of this match means that the playoffs for the championship are known. Delta will meet Crystal Kelly, Van Donge en De Roo plays against Snellen Recycling in tre semi-finals Kapelle.

Van Donge en De Roo (Saturday, 7-1 winner against DBL) has taken the top position, Crystal Kelly is second, Delta is third and Snellen Recycling fourth as the team had a total off-day and lost 8-0 against A1 biljarts on Saturday.

Frédéric Caudron underlined his great form in Sluiskil, where he is the face man in the team of Delta next season. He defeated Eddy Leppens 50-27 in fifteen turns. The collision between these two friends had no surprise: Caudron respects his opponent, but has not any fear for the number two of the world championship last year. Almost always he wins this game easily. It happened again Saturday: Caudron played 3.333 average, made a run of sixteen, Leppens had an average of 1.800 with a run of eleven.

Frans van Kuijk and Jean Paul de Bruijn played a draw in this match (50-50 in 40), the other match points in Waalwijk were for Delta: Peter de Backer defeated Raimond Burgman (50-35 in 27) and Glenn Hofmann defeated Raymond Ceulemans (50-46 in 35). That's why Delta, which plays a last game against De Vrachtkar today, ends up in third place on the rank.

The game between Verbrugge/yundai and Emar Logistics gave some tension to the battle for the last places. Verbrugge defeated his rival 6-4 with wins of Martin Spoormans, Henk Habraken and Therese Klompenhouwer. Verbrugge has a minimal chance now to escape, plays his last match in Waalwijk against Crystal Kelly this afternoon.
