PORCIA - Marco Zanetti and Dani Sánchez are rivals in the World Cups and other international tournaments. In the team competition of Germany they play together for BC Munich and now, the Spaniard has also committed to Green Planet Gold, Italian champion, with Marco Zanetti. The commitment has been realized by Fabio Gaiotti, a player himself in the team. ,,We have been friends for many years, Fabio and me'', explains Sánchez. ,,He has lived in Spain, where we got to know each other. For me it is the first time I will play for an Italian team.''

The Italian championship is played from 26 to February 28 in Porcia, fifty kilometers from Venice. With Green Planet Gold as the organizer and defending champion, a total of nine participating teams are in competition for three days. The teams are divided into two groups: the big favorites are Green Planet Gold and Smile Club (ex All Games), finalists in the previous edition.
Three teams have a chance to win: Green Planet Gold (title holder, 1.032 average last year), Smile Club, which has also been strengthened by the arrival of Savas Bulut and Giorgio Mancini, the Italian who leaves Green Planet after four years, and Scuola biliardo la Biglia, the winner of many championships in the past.
The two best teams of the championship gain access to the European selection.
