Vietnamese coach asks for participation in full booked tournament

HURGHADA - The tournament for the World Cup in Hurghada is enjoying a tremendous interest. The last edition of 2010 with 128 players is allready full booked, on the reserve list are now 32 players, including Rui Costa, Jorge Bastos, Adnam Yüksel, the world champion juniors, Heang Jik Kim and many other well-known three-cushion players.

The tournament is just like every year in high demand. Mr. Farouk Barki, sports director of the UMB and one of the organizers in Hurghada, yesterday even received a letter from the Vietnamese national coach Nguyen Viet Hoa. He wrote a cry for help: ,,On our way tot the World championship in Sluiskil, we saw to our surprise that your tournament in Hurghada has allready been booked up. We were only informed for one week to inscribe for participation and we had to ask the Ministry for permission.''

The coach asks the organization to join the tournament with six players. ,,It seems that this World cup is very attractive for all players, but we want you to ask a favor and like to play with our team in Hurghada'', he writes.

The World cup in Hurghada is from 5-11 December.
