BOCHUM - Ten young players under seventeen are battling for the European title free game from Friday 15 to Sunday, August 17. The organizer is the 1968 BC Elfenbein Höntrop from Bochem. Two young sons of German top player Fabian Blondeel are among the participants.

The players from five countries are divided into two groups of five. Dutch talent Sam van Etten won the title last year, but is not allowed to play this year due to his age.

Jason Petit (French) and Anders Hendriksen (Denmark) start off as the favorites based on the average. The other contenders are Jordy Jong, a Dutch promise from Sam van Etten's club. Furthermore, the Frenchman Pierre Martory.
