BUENOS AIRES - Argentina will be the epicentre of Pan-American billiards with two Grand Prix tournaments in three-cushion in October. The Club Social y Deportivo Unión and the Club Mariano Moreno, located just 30 minutes apart, are organizing these two events open to all players in the Pan-American region.
The objectives of the tour in this country country include promoting competition in the region, developing the sport and awarding Pan American ranking points to participants.
The competition offers a prize money of $4,000 + inscriptions (Grand Prix Club Union) and $6,000 + inscriptions (Grand Prix Copa Alamo). The tournaments will be held from October 5-8 (Quilmes) and October 10-13 (Buenos Aires) with an entry fee of $100 for each tournament.
CPB/UMB rules will be followed and the contacts for registration are Gustavo Alvarez and Dario Horodecki. Attire is uniform and the safety of participants is an individual responsibility.
