ISTANBUL - Turkish billiards is facing a mega event starting in the next days with the regional championships in 81 provinces from September 6 to 26. After those championships, on 15 October, the second session of the Turkish three cushion championships will be played at the new billiard venue of the Turkish Federation. Immediately afterwards, the ladies, youth and veterans will also play their tournament.
The billiard location of the federation is suitable for international tournaments. The edition of the championship is a nice test, among others in the run-up to the World Cup and the World Championship in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The president of the Turkish federation, Ersan Ercan, recently sent information to all billiard players about the rules they have to comply with during the championships.
The third session for the Turkish championship is in November, followed by the final stage in December with 48 players.
