SEOUL - For the first time in her career, Therese Klompenhouwer will meet Marco Zanetti at the billiard. The European ladies champion, who played a good World Cup tournament in Guri, is staying a few days more in Seoul to play the Kimchi tournament.
There she will face Marco Zanetti in the group stage and the Koreans Rahui Kim, Jaegeun Kim and Haeng Jik Kim, the reigning junior world champion.
Four players are seeded in advance in the Kimchi billiard center: Frédéric Caudron, Marco Zanetti, Eddy Merckx and Dani Sánchez. The Spaniard, who played the final in the Guri World Cup on Sunday against Dong Koong Kang, starts in the group stage against Hyung Muk Lim.
The other European participants among the Koreans are Ruben Legazpi and Jose Maria Mas from Spain. Earlier this year, Jose Maria Mas was the winner of an invitational tournament in Greece, where he topped Adnan Yüksel in the final.
