Spanish gold in teamcompetition artistic

FLORANGE - After two years of Turkish reign at the National Team Artistic Championships, the Spanish team with Hector Cuadrado and Sergio Sanchez have added their name to the list of winners at the recent event. They were able to take revenge for the final they lost in 2023 to the same Turkish duo f Haci Arap Yaman and Baris Cin. The very close final was won 3 sets to 2 by the Spanish players.

In the semi-finals, Spain had eliminated France with Michael Hammen and Olivier Lacroix 3 sets to 1, while Turkey had beaten Turkey 2 with Serdar Gümüs and Mehmet Sezer by the same score.

All in all, Spain won gold in the team competition and silver in the individual competition, making them the big winners of the week in Florange. Germany won gold with Thomas Ahrens in the individual competition, Turkey won two medals with silver and bronze in the team competition, France won two bronze medals with Anthony Marin in the individual competition and the Hammen/Lacroix duo in the team competition, and Belgium won bronze with Erik Vervliet.
