Filipos Kasidokostas finished with another great run and beat Antonio Ortiz.

SUWON - The top five of the world has already lost three players in the Suwon World Cup, in the top sixteen there are no Belgians left. Frédéric Caudron was the last who was sent home in the fourth session of the day. What remains in the top sixteen are the Koreans, some Spaniards, three Turks, one Dutchman (Jaspers), one Suede (Blomdahl) and one Frenchman (Bury) in a race filled with spectacular results. And finally  Filipos Kasidokostas shared himself among the best in his match against Antonio Ortiz, which he finished with a wonderful run of eleven.

The Belgians were hit by Murphy's law in the sweltering Korean city. Frédéric Caudron was beaten in his last game by Xuan Cuong MA, the Vietnamese who was also responsible for the elimination of Jung Han Heo in the preliminary round.

For sure it must be a rarity is in the history of the World Cup and other big tournaments, that there are no Belgians left in the schedule with te best sixteen players. The Suwon event will continue with other greatnesses: the Greek Filipos Kasidokostas for example, who was in big trouble in his match against Antonio Ortiz, but at the end of the game he grabbed to the weapon which gave him a great reputation. The inimitable final run, as he showed already in the Agipi Masters with a run of 21 against Dick Jaspers.

The Spaniard started with a 15-11 back log, came back with two winning sets, but then couldn't stop the Greek on his way to victory: 15-10 and 15-1, the last set in only two innings.

Murat Naci Coklu demonstrated a great form against Ryuuji Umeda, whom he defeated 15-11, 15-0 (3 innings) 15-10 and sent back to Japan. Javier Teran helt up the South American honors by winning his duel with Lütfi Cenet. The Pan-American champion from Ecuador won 15-11, 15-1, 14-15 and 15-2 and averaged 1,966.

But the most surprising elimination in the late evening session was the one of Frédéric Caudron. The last Belgian hope in this tournament really showed himself a great fighter, he equalized after two lost sets, but had to bow for the strong Vietnamese in the final set 15-13.
