AMSTERDAM The Billiard Center Osdorp in Amsterdam is hosting the first Dutch elite ranking tournament from 14 to 17 April. There are 32 players divided into eight groups of four with Dick Jaspers as first seeded player. The other heads of the groups, based on the results at the previous Masters tournament, are Raimond Burgman, Jean van Erp, Ad Broeders, Jan Arnouts, Herman Slikker, Dave van Geel and Barry van Beers.
Harrie van de Ven, who had to cancel the Masters tournament, because broke his wrist on the eve before during an indoor football game, is classified in the group with Dick Jaspers.
Glenn Hofman and Therese Klompenhouwer will play in their group against good old Herman Slikker, who surprisingly performed at the Masters.
The KNBB (Dutch billiard federation) has planned two elite ranking tournaments so far, where points can be achieved for the next Masters. The players, however, have argued for a calendar with more tournaments.
The Masters, in which tournament is played for the Dutch title, provisionally id scheduled in January. The location is still unknown.

H: Barry van Beers, Wim van de Berg, Huub Wilkowski, Herman van Daalen.
