The 2025 Predator Pro Billiard Series (PBS) is returning to Las Vegas from February 19 to March 1, bringing an expanded lineup of events and increased excitement for players and fans alike. Held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, the series will feature seven major events and more than $350,000 in prize money.
Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s event, the 2025 season has expanded player fields and introduced new competitions, making it one of the most anticipated billiard events of the year.
7 Featured Events:
• Las Vegas Men’s Open: 128 players
• Las Vegas Women’s Open: 64 players
• Mixed Doubles Open: 32 teams (a brand-new addition)
• Women Challenge of Champions: Featuring a head-to-head matchup between the two WPA Women World Champions from 2024, competing in both 9-ball and 10-ball
• American Junior Showdown: Invitational
• Bank Pool & One Pocket Showdown: Invitational
• Wheelchair Exhibition: Invitational
Vincent Rochefort, Events Manager for the Predator Pro Billiard Series, expressed his enthusiasm for the new format changes:
“We are thrilled to introduce the first-ever Mixed Doubles Open, which celebrates the success of the mixed doubles invitational we produced in 2024, providing an exhilarating experience for both players and fans.”
The American Junior Showdown will be a platform for the top young billiard players in the U.S. to compete on a national stage. It offers a unique opportunity for junior players to gain recognition and showcase their skills in a professional setting.
The Bank Pool showdown at the 2025 Predator Pro Billiard Series is set to be a marquee event, highlighting one of the most exciting and challenging games in pool. This event will be invitational, featuring top-tier talent known for their mastery of this demanding game.
“Bringing more of the traditional American games, like Bank Pool, into the series is something we’re very excited about, showcasing some specialist players at other games than 10-ball,” Rochefort added.
Meanwhile, the Wheelchair Exhibition will highlight the impressive abilities of adaptive athletes, showcasing their remarkable skill and determination. This event serves as a powerful reminder of the inclusivity within the sport of billiards and celebrates the athletes who continue to break barriers.
The PBS will be part of the CueSports International Expo, continuing its long-standing partnership with CueSports International (CSI). The expo will also host the BCA and USA Pool League Championships, making it a comprehensive event that draws both professional and amateur players. With over 10,000 participants expected, the expo will cover 160,000 square feet and feature more than 80 booths, offering a wide range of billiard-related products, services, and activities.
