Euro-Tour event about to start in ancient castle setup

Cison di Valmarino, Italy: The Hotel Castelbrando in Cison di Valmarino, Italy, will be the setup for the upcoming Dynamic Billard Castelbrando Open Euro-Tour event.

The scenery for the tournament is very unique to any former Euro-Tour event. Situated in the mountains about 40 km north of Venice, the castle is surrounded by mainly forest and a small village. The art deco interior design creates a special atmosphere. One can literally feel the great history of this place. For the next four days, 12 pool tables will be integrated into the medieval environment. Instead of knights in shining armor jousting for glory, 101 cue artists from as many as 26 countries will gather together to compete for the title, prize money and ranking points. As usual, a total of 35.000,-€ is at stake with 3.400,-€ going to the winner alone.

The tournament starts tomorrow morning at 09:00 local time. The final will be played on Saturday, November 9th, at 18:00 local time.

All 12 tables will be streamed LIVE throughout the event.

The event will be hosted by the European Governing Body for Pool, the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF) and organized by International Billiard Promotion (IBP).
