COPENHAGEN - DDBU, the Danish billiard federation and Iwan Simonis have made a mutual agreement, considering title sponsorship from Iwan Simonis to the Nordic championship in 3-cushion billiards. The sponsorship from Iwan Simonis is running for two consecutive years: 2017 and 2018. The Danish billiard federation is hosting the World championship in three cushion in the year 2019 in Randers.
With this sponsorship, Iwan Simonis is given the exclusive right, that the next two editions of the biggest 3-cushion billiards tournament in Scandinavia, played in Copenhagen, Denmark, is to be called: SIMONIS Nordic Championship in 3-cushion.
