MARACAY - Miguel Labrador from Venezuela has won the national three cushion title in his country. The championship was played in Maracqy and held for the 21th time. It was the third national title fort he winner, who is nicknamed ‘El Catire the Tariba'. With the title, Labrador improves his position in the rankings for the national competition, the Pan American and the World ranking. In the final match, the triple champion defeated a renowned opponent, Miguel Canton, who is second in the ranking, 30-26.
The champion finished 1.087 avarage, in his best match he recorded 1.765 with a run of nine. Third place went to the young William Villanueva from the capital. Miguel Canton signed up for the highest match average with 2.143 and made the highest run of ten.
