Michael Nilsson, the Viking returns to the holy ground of Agipi.

He played a exciting match with Marco Zanetti in the Agipi arena at the European Championship for teams a few years ago, was the revelation in the previous round of the Agipi Masters and will return tomorrow on that sacred ground in Schiltigheim. Michael Nilsson said on his facebook page the Agipi Masters for him is the most important tournament he ever played. That promises a great comeback from the Viking.

Michael Nilsson didn't play that well at the Swedish championship last weekend, he realizes himself. He lost in the semifinals and had to cede his title to Torbjörn Blomdahl. ,,I hope I will play better Agipi'', said the man who remained unbeaten in the preliminary rounds and who made a great impression with his fighting spirit and beautiful caroms.

The Masters start at 14.00 tomorrow with a match against the young Spaniard Javier Palazón, who had a great year in 2010. And the shape is still there, he showed this week in a tournament in Valencia. Palazón triumphed with an average of 1.550.

Martin Horn, another player who has some weeks in fantastic shape behind him, will meet at the same time Tayfun Tasdemir. The German and the Turk are both in the top ten in the world, it will be undoubtedly a great match between two top players.

Marco Zanetti, first seeded in this group, is playing in the last session of the day. The Italian starts the tournament at 21.00 against Palazón. Zanetti, feared as a home player in Schiltigheim, comes to the billiards with an unprecedented ambition and motivation for his own crowd.

Martin Horn and Michael Nilsson will face each other also tomorrow at 21.00.
