GOYANG - The CrownHatai Laon team has won the fourth round in the PBA team league. The number one ranked team in this fourth session finished with the same points as Green Force, but emerged winner of this Tour by winning the final, mutual match 4-2. Green Force remains the overall leader of the PBA team league with 73 points ahead of Laon with 67 and Phoenix with 46.
Team captain Jae Guen Kim, a former world champion with Korea in Viersen, received the trophy with his team. CrownHatai Laon further plays with David Martinez, Tae-jun Oh, Tae-kwan Kim, Jung-suk Lim, Min-joo Baek. Min-joo Baek received the award for most deserving player after her decisive victory against Green Force.
Laon and Green Force battled for the fourth-round win in the final match. Laon won the match thanks in part to Min-joo Baek, who won in the final match against Min-a Kim 9-4. Jae Guen Kim was the better of Antonio Montes 11-0, David Martinez lost to Green Force frontman Jae-ho Cho 15-11. Laon owed the win mainly to the doubles.
Laon's team was unsuccessful in its last two matches. It lost its penultimate match against Angels 4-1 (Juan Zapata-David Martinez 15-13) and was also beaten by Bazzar 4-1 (Dani Sánchez-David Martinez 15-5).
Green Force leads the overall ranking: the team includes Jae-ho Cho, Hyun-woo Kim, Minh Cam Ma, Seong-uk Oh, Antonio Montes, Min-a Kim, Bo-mi Kim.
