VIERSEN - The organizer of the next two UMB World championships in three-cushion, Kozoom and Gabriels Billiards have signed an agreement covering the supply of Gabriels billiard tables during the tournaments in 2015 and 2016. The contract was signed by Xavier Carrer on behalf Kozoom and Thierry Gabriels on behalf of Gabriels at the World championship in Viersen.

Since many years Gabriels Billiards has a reputation with the delivery of match tables for the World championships. Six of the last eight individual world championships were played on Gabriels tables and at the World championship in Viersen, Gabriels is the supplier since eighteen years.

The 2015 and 2016 World championship three-cushion was assigned to Kozoom more than a week ago. The tournament is on the international calendar this year from 1 to 5 December at the Palais des Sports in Bordeaux. The tournament date for 2016 will be in the last quarter of the year.

Thierry Gabriels: ,,Kozoom has chosen for a stable partner with a lot of experience in delivering high quality tables.'' He expects a championship with an organization at the highest level. ,,We are very pleased that we can participate again for two years after the successful World championship in Antwerp in 2013. We are committed to continue our investments in billiards sports.''

Kozoom-ceo Xavier Carrer: ,,Honestly, it was not a tough decision choosing Gabriels. It gives us a guarantee of high quality equipment, well known among the world class players. But it's also a serious sponsor in the industry of billiards, supporting organizers of great tournaments. And which manufactory can support such a big event in Europe as Gabriels does with its participation in the World championships?''

The Korean Sung-Won Choi defends his world title this year in Bordeaux.
