FACHES-THUMESNIL - Jérémie Picart has confirmed his reputation as the absolute French specialist for the last two years in balk-line 47/1. 44 -year-old Andernos player grabbed his third Masters title in Fâches Thumesnil in this discipline with a victory over Patrick Dupont (Soissons) in the final: 200-50 in 15 innings. Picart extended his title in this year's championship, as Olivier Careaux did it before in the free game and Bernard Villiers in one cushion.

The final match was decided by a hundred-run in the third inning, allowing Picart to put a 140 points lead at the scoreboard. Dupont could not close the gap anymore.

Therefore, Picart showed up with his third Masters title in this discipline after 2007 in Schiltigheim, ahead of Laurent Guenet and Pierre Soumagne and 2013 in St Maur-du-Fosse with Mikael Devogelaere and Olivier Careaux on the podium.

The honor roll of the 44-year-old Frenchman Picart shows furthermore three national tournaments wins: two in balk-line 71/2, one in one cushion.

The champion finished off with 16.00 average after victories in 12, 14, 9 and 15 innings against Bernard Villiers, Benoit Legros, his Andernos teammate Nicolas Gerassimopoulos and finally against Patrick Dupont.

Dupont (average 11.83) finished second with three consecutive victories over Emmanuel Lefranc in 13, Benoit Legros in 10 Johann Petit in the semifinals in 12 innings.

The podium was completed by Johann Petit (17.29, best average of the tournament ) and Nicolas Gerassimopoulos (16.51 ). These four players were followed in the ranking by Jean-François Florent (15.32 ) Benoit Legros (15.05), Bernard Villiers (8.31) and Emmanuel Lefranc (8.24).
