ANKARA – The Turkish armada was dominating the battle with half of the day's winners. Dutchman Jean Paul de Bruijn showed his big ambitions for this World Cup, Austrian Arnim Kahofer is slowly and strongly paving his way to the high ranks, Turk Necdet Yalcin continues to amaze everyone, and it was mot of all the day of young talents with daily wins. Denizcan Akkoca, Maxime Panaia and Dimitrios Seleventas will attempt to qualify for the main draw on Thursday. The Turks came out of the third day at the World Cup in Ankara with 8 of 16 daily winners.
Jean Paul de Bruijn, the four-time Dutch champion, was the most impressive of 48 players in the run-up to the final round of qualifiers. The strong group in which he had to start with Alexander Salazar and Van Ly Dao did not scare the Dutch player at all. The progress that Arnim Kahofer has been showing for some time now does not just bring the Austrian all-rounder into the final qualifiers. The French were strongly represented with Maxime Panaia, Mikaël Devogelaere and Kévin Vasseur, while for the Dutch, with six men in this round, Vokan Cetin also slipped in with the day's winner Jean Paul de Bruijn.
The results for the final selection round is that Jean Paul de Bruijn will face the unpredictable Vietnamese player TTT Nguyen and Omer Karakurt. Jérémy Bury, together with another Frenchman, Mikaël Devogelaere, is preparing to meet the revelation of this World Cup, Necdet Yalcin.
