The World Champion showed his brilliant form again in Lausanne winning a match against Jérémy Bury, 40-13 in 7, averaging 5.714. With two wins and 3.200 on the first day, Jaspers already secured his place in the quarter finals. Torbjörn Blomdahl also achieved the maximum match points. Marco Zanetti and Martin Horn won their first match in the group.
Jérémy Bury finished with a good average against Jaspers (40-13 in 7, 1.867), the Frenchman won his first match against Murat Naci Coklu (40-36 in 26) and faces Dong Koong Kang to reach the knock-outs .
