Jacob Haack Sörensen looking for revenge on teammate

COPENHAGEN - In the Danish championship eight players have seeded for the quarter finals after having finished the group stage. Tonny Carlsen looked very impressive in the preliminaries. He won his three matches (9-2 in sets) and played a nice average of more than 1.500.

The former champion meets in the quarters Thomas Andersen, who had a difficult start, but eventually could seed himself. Jacob Haack Sörensen and René Hendriksen meet each other again, Haack Sörensen is looking for a revenge. He lost the encounter with his teammate Hendriksen in the group 3-2.

Poul Bjerring won his group in style. His opponent tonight is Michael Toudahl, who was second in his group after Carlsen, but he also can look back on a strong qualifying round.

Lars Dunch won his group and lost only one set. He plays against Allan Lys Jensen, whom he beat in the group stage 3-0. Dunch never before played in the semis of the championship.
