MANIZALES - When the Colombian billiard player Huberney Cataño enters the imposing scene of the Manizales billiard arena, the name of the winner is practically known. The stands are full and they cheer his name. He is the big favorite in the Torneo Internacional Alcadia Feria de Manizales. And at the end, the winner is on the podium: Huberney Cataño, ahead of Daniel Morales and Andres Naranjo.
Cataño won the tournament twice in the last four years. Huberney is a real star in Colombia and has many fans. Now, he won the final against Daniel Morales and he was the successor of Luis Martinez.
On the last day of competition, Cataño first defeated Arley Castrillon 15-11 and 15-9 in 10 and 14 innings. The second victim was Julián Morales 15-10 in 13 and 15-13 in 8. In the semi-finals, Mauricio Grajales couldn't deal with the pressure, 15-8, 15-8 in 8 and 12.
