HERSTAL - The top match in the Belgian team competition between Herstalien and Biljart Express ended in a 7-1 victory for Herstalien. The match was played tonight (Friday) in Herstalien's home arena. The maximum win for Herstal was secured by Roland Forthomme's victory in the last match against Eddy Merckx: 40-27 in 17 innings. And by Pierre Soumagne, who beat Frans van Kuyk 40-26 in 25 innings.
With that victory in the top billings, Herstalien takes over the lead from Biljart Express. Herstalien now has 11 points out of seven matches and is followed by Biljart Express with 10 and Mister 100 with nine.
