OSTRAVA - The European Billiards Federation, CEB, has invited 20 juniors (under 21) to the Grand Prix three-cushion in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The Grand Prix starts tomorrow, Friday 23 November, with the first games in the preliminary rounds. Four groups of five players will show up, the best two players in each group qualify for the quarter-finals. The matches will be broadcast on Kozoom.
Best-known players in action are Burak Hashas (Turkey), Selahattin Ozkul (Turkey), Marcos Morales (Spain), Amir Ibraimov (Germany) and Toni Garcia (Spain). Four players come to the tables action for Spain, three for France and three for the Netherlands. The host Czech Republic put in 1 player: Nicolas Cermak.
The organizer is the Billiard Club Ostrava.
Friday and Saturday qualifications from 10am, Sunday from 10am quarter-finals, semi-finals, 16.00 final.
