BAD WILDUNGEN - Following the tradition of recent years, the German championship in all disciplines will be played in Bad Wildungen this week. The multi-tournament has been launched this weekend. Not only the carom players come to the stage, also pool, snooker and 5 pins are the disciplines in the tournament. A total of 500 billiard players come to the tables, competing in 39 disciplines. The carom billiard starts in the disciplines artistic and free game. Then followed by the balk-lines, one cushion and three cushion on Thursday.
Sven Daske is one of the favourites in almost all the classic disciplines. Markus Dömer returns as one of the contenders in one cushion, where Thomas Wildförster, Sven Daske and Dieter Steinberger are his competitors. Title holder in three cushion is Christian Rudolph, who represents his country in two weeks at the World championships in Bordeaux.
