ANSAN - Frédéric Caudron's victory this Monday in the PBA's Skilroad tournament brought his total prize money to around 1 MILLIARD Korean won. The Belgian thus collected 1,000 million Korean won, is a total of around 700,000 euros as premiums in the Korean professional league. With his victory this week (4-1 in the final against Birol Uymaz), Caudron triumphed in 8 tournaments and not 6 as previously reported.
The Belgian played a total of eight finals and won all eight. Needless to say, he tops the list of most wins on the PBA Tour, well ahead of other multiple winners. So far, according to statistics published today, 17 different players have won the 30 PBA Tours.
Birol Uymaz, one of the PBA's key mid-range players, now ranks 8th in 'PBA All Season Earnings' with just over 200 million Korean won, around 148,000 euros.
Javier Palazon monopolised both the TS Shampoo Perfect Q (run of 15) and the Welcome Savings Bank Top Ranking awards. Palazón now has 42 million won to his credit (31,000 euros).
The venue at the Ansan City Sports Complex received more than 11,000 visitors over the past eight days.
The PBA-LPBA Tour is back from 20 to 28 this month at the Kintex PBA Billiard Centre.
