The point loss by De Leug 1 moves Op de Meir into the top three of the league table at the expense of De Leug 1 on individual point difference. Barry Van Beers (Op de Meir) fulfilled an impressive role to this strong encounter with the best match of the week: 2.857 on average. The leading team Biljart Express won 6-2 against De Leug 2, with the only loss coming at the number 1 position, where Eddy Merckx lost to Frans van Schaik 40-38 in 31 innings. For the leaders, Frans Van Kuyk, Dave Christiani and Martin Spoormans won in 28, 32 and 35 innings. Herstalien won 5-3 at De Witte Molen and remains second, five points behind the leaders.
Op de Meir (1.628) won 6-2 in Kortrijk. Jef Philipoom lost to Ronny Brants 40-38 in 24 innings, Barry Van Beers won 14 innings, Roland Uijtdewillegen in 33 and Wesley De Jaeger in 26 against Frédéric Beghin.
De Leug 1 was held to a 4-4 draw by T'S Place. For the home team, Davy Van Havere won against Huub Wilkowski 40-25 in 27 and Mik Durwael beat Marc Van Der Spiegel 40-28 in 39. For the visitors, Peter De Backer was the better of Jeffrey Jorissen 40-31 in 30 and Freddy Staelens (best run of the week with 14) beat Therese Klompenhouwer 40-29 in 36.
Mister 100 Lier remains in 5th place, 1 point off the podium after the 7-1 win over Billiard Promotion. Peter Ceulemans and Jean Paul De Bruijn drew in 28 innings, while Kurt Ceulemans, Jerry Hermans and Bart Ceulemans won in 25, 39 and 39 innings with a team average of 1.221.
Finally, in the battle for 8th place, Brugge beat De Ploeg 6-2 at home, with the only defeat being the game of leader Steven Van Acker against Dustin Jäschke 29-40 in 34. Henk Blauwblomme, Koen Saver and Bart Leys beat Joey De Kok, Eddy Willems (J) and Roger Roefs in 37, 26 and 41 innings respectively.
