The selection is still early, with, among others, the match between Team Eekhoorn (2 match points) and RCN Nieuwegein (1 point). Team Babbelz, which did not lose one match on this first day of competition, faces an away match against SIS/Vervoort on Sunday, including the matches Van Erp-Caudron and Burgman-Nelin. The matches that are sure to capture the imagination are Dick Jaspers-Eddy Merckx and Roland Forthomme-Jean Paul de Bruijn. The Cues&Darts champion faces the promoted Harwig, while cup winner Bousema travels to another new team at this level, Burgmans Biljarts. Zundert, Burgmans, Paperclip, and Harwig will be looking for their first match points. Team Babbelz had the highest team average last week with 1,600, ahead of Cues&Darts with 1,424 and Dallinga with 1,409. With that start, Dallinga surprised its own fans and showed the Zeeland team's ambition to stay further away from the bottom places this time.
