Around 09:00 CET tomorrow, the first matches of the Dynamic Billard Treviso Open 2018 will begin. 20 Dynamic III tables are set up on two floors and awaiting the contestants. As many as 174 athletes have enrolled in the open event while 43 women will play the EPBF Treviso Open, starting Saturday. Once again, the venue for the event is the BHR Treviso Hotel in Treviso, Italy.
After taking the victory in the recent Euro-Tour event in Klagenfurt, Austria, Mario He (AUT) has closed in on #1 ranked Eklent Kaci (ALB) by 20 points only. Both will lose 330 points from last year’s event in Klagenfurt after this tournament so the duel here in Treviso for the victory of the 2018 Euro-Tour series is on between Kaci and He. Albin Ouschan (AUT), Wiktor Zielinski (POL) and Denis Grabe (EST) only have outsider chances to take the prestigious title. In the current rankings, Mario He is the only player who managed to take two titles throughout the season: Victories in Veldhoven as well as Klagenfurt together with a second place in Treviso late last year took Mario He to the #2 spot in the rankings. Due to his performance at the Euro-Tour this year, Mario He will have his inaugural appearance on the European Mosconi Cup Team in the upcoming December.
In the women’s Euro-Tour rankings, all victories of the current season were captured by Jasmin Ouschan (AUT; 3 victories), Kristina Tkach (RUS; 2) and Marharyta Fefilava (BLR; 1). The second places are also shared between the three athletes except three. Though Fefilava „only“ won one event in the current season, she is leading the rankings since she had finished 3-times as runner-up. However, Jasmin Ouschan has a great chance to threaten Fefilava’s lead since she will not lose any points after this event. Ouschan missed two events so she will collect a full amount of points here in Treviso while Fefilava loses big time points for her victory last year in Braga, Portugal. The odds are definitely in favour if ouschan and Tkach before this event.
Once again, Kozoom and the EPBF will feature the „Crazy Thursday“ for all pool fans all over the World. Just like in Treviso, Sankt Johann, Leende and Klagenfurt this year, on Thursday November 15th, all matches will be free on www.kozoom.com to watch. All one needs to do is to register with Kozoom and then choose one of the 20 tables of the event. Additionally, one match per round will be featured LIVE on the EPBF Facebook page.
Friday through Sunday, EPBF will show two feature matches LIVE on the EPBF Facebook page. The complete tournament is shown on kozoom.com for premium pass holders.
The Dynamic Billard Treviso open will commence tomorrow morning at 09:00 CET with the final match being scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, at 18:00 CET. The EPBF Treviso Open, the women’s Euro-Tour event, will start on Saturday morning with the final being scheduled for Sunday, November 18th, 14:30 local time.
