RUMPT – The Dutch team cup final, featuring 8 teams that qualified during the long preliminary round, has a stronger line-up than expected. The cancellation of the World Masters in Colombia, announced this Thursday, means that Dick Jaspers, Eddy Merckx, Peter Ceulemans and Roland Forthomme, among others, are available to play in the Netherlands after all. Jaspers' participation is not yet certain; he has not yet confirmed. Eddy Merckx will play for Aartsbouw, Peter Ceulemans for Team Eekhoorn and Roland Forthomme for Van Baal.
The cup final will be played at BC Carambole in Rumpt; the BEN Foundation is the organizer in collaboration with the KNBB three-cushion section. The matches take place from Wednesday, April 1 to Saturday, April 4. The defending champion is Bousema from Lochem. The matches will be broadcast live for free for registered members of Kozoom.
