ANDERNOS - The preliminaries of the Kozoom Challenge Cup continue today, Saturday 15 May (until Monday 17 May) with the 5th group consisting of players of the same generation: Dion Nelin, Jérôme Barbeillon and José-Maria Mas, the replacement of Murat Naci Coklu. Danish player Nelin starts as favourite, but will have to be wary of his two opponents as the figures below indicate:

Dion Nelin (Denmark) 44 years: average 1,532 over 155 games since 2018.
(Danish league games not included: 1,851 this year over 10 games won with Gröndal)

Jérôme Barbeillon (France) 46 years: average 1,279 over 135 games since 2018.

Jose-Maria Mas (Spain) 39 years: average 1,288 over 51 games
(Spanish league games not included: 1,335 this year in 9 games with CB Móstoles)

Dion Nelin plays about three-tenths more than his two opponents, making him a logical favourite, but this group could be as interesting as the one we just came out of with Peter De Backer's victory over Jérémy Bury, whose average margin was just under two-tenths.

The matches will be broadcast live on Kozoom for Premium subscribers on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5pm to 8.30pm with 8 sets of 10 points each.
