Belgians with strongest team in Zundert

ZUNDERT - The BHV//Van Beers-Son Kersttoernooi in Zundert will be played with the strongest Belgian team. The Dutch team misses Dick Jaspers and Jean Paul de Bruijn. The triple junior world champion Haeng Jik Kim is one of the crowd pullers.

Jan van Kerkoerle has announced the groups after the draw in billiard center Den Hoek in Zundert. Frédéric Caudron, Eddy Leppens, Eddy Merckx and Roland Forthomme are the group leaders.

For the 35th edition eight players from Belgium, seven from the Netherlands and one from Korea are invited.

The group format is:

A: Frédéric Caudron, Gerwin Valentijn, Barry van Beers, Glenn Hoffman

B: Eddy Leppens, Haeng Jik Kim, Jef Philipoom, Harrie van de Ven

C: Roland Forthomme, Jean van Erp, Peter de Backer, Martin Spoormans

D: Eddy Merckx, Raimond Burgman, Peter Ceulemans, Jeffrey van Nijnatten
